Attack on titan is a japanese manga series written and illustrated by hajime isayama the series is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls as a defense against the titans who are gigantic humanoid creatures ready to kill and destroy humans without reason the franchise has evolved from print through to anime television series with two films planned for release in 2015
