For robotics made simple look no further than Fable. Fable from Shape Robotics is a modular construction scheme that enables you to build your own robot in minutes.
Just click the different modules together to create your robot - then give it senses and movement. The modules fit together in a variety of different ways so you can devise your own robot - it can be a humanoid, a robotic dog, a laser arm or even a catapult. Depending on your experience you can program the robot with ever more complex tools.
