Pure Cotton Printed Dressing Gown

I bought this in the 12-14 as if anything I am too big on the chest and shoulders and have long arms and I thought a wrap style would cope with my chest and slightly shorter sleeves would be better in a dressing gown for cooking, washing up etc.. The dressing gown comes up small, it doesn't fall in a straight line over the legs as it is pulling out on my hips, however the sleeves are too long! It is really rather odd, size wise. Having said that, I really like the gown, the cotton is soft and comfortable and the dark colours mean that not every little thing shows up.

This isn't a lightweight dressing gown for the hot summer days. It's much too thick and heavy. Nice colour and pattern so it's a shame I had to send it back but I only needed a really light one.

Nice material but a bit heavy for summer. Sleeves much too long so returned.

New dressing gown is comfortable and cool,I love the pattern just wish it came in a petite size as the arms are so long. I did consider returning it but I liked it so much I just roll the sleeves up.

Very comfortable lighter-weight dressing gown. Keep the cosy fleecy one for colder weather. Flattering fit - although maybe cut slightly on the small side? Useful internal ribbon-tie. Good sized pockets.

The fabric quality is very good. The sizing is slightly small which is unusual for M&S night wear. The colour & pattern seems a lot darker than the photo, & the pattern very old fashioned old lady style, hideous!

The quality of the fabric and finish of the gown is not as good as some of the other waffle dressing gowns, but for the price, is OK, although the printed pattern feels like it may not launder well, as it has a slightly plasticky feel to me, but I may be wrong there. The colour, however, was a little disappointing because it is a bit washed out compared to the rich blue it appears to be on the photo. Very pretty pattern though, and a nice change. It fits well, and is comfortable, but the sleeves are rather long. I decided to keep the white floral waffle gown instead because I feel the slightly better quality of fabric and finish is worth 4-5 few pounds more, and it is also also slightly thicker. This one really would be only for summer I feel, so I will return it, but it is reasonable for the price.

If it's a lightweight summer dressing gown you after, this is definitely not it. I kept it ,in spite of it not being suitable to pack and take away, it weighs too much! But it's a really nice faded blue, very fifties, and looks lovely on. I think three quarter sleeves would be better, and I washed it, before wearing, to soften it up.
