Jura 71794

We need this filter at regular intervals for our Jura fully automatic coffee machine. It prevents calcification of the machine and makes the water softer. The smart function enables the machine to notify you when a change is required. From the price but unfortunately a little expensive (I therefore always buy it in a pack of three, because it is then a little cheaper).

Had decided to buy a fully automatic coffee machine after a long time of sustainability because our previous machine produced too much waste. But now had to realize that the filter cartridge relatively quickly (approx. every 2 months) must be replaced and that goes quite into the money. Now we have the machine and probably have to bite the bullet for now.

We had to order these filter cartridges for our Jura e8 coffee machine after a short period of operation. Through these cartridges less limescale collects in the coffee machine. Descaling is no longer necessary. In terms of price, these filters are very high. I don't find it sustainable, perhaps the manufacturer should be more innovative here.

The Jura 71794 filter cartridge filters the water in my coffee machine very well. This makes the coffee very tasty. Since a cartridge lasts a maximum of four to five weeks, I find the price simply too high. Maybe something can be done here, since you could use the device without a cartridge.

I have had the Jura E8 (EB) fully automatic coffee machine for half a year. Unfortunately, you need these "smart" filters, which supposedly eliminate the need to descale the machine. In principle, not bad, but I drink several cups of coffee a day, so I have to change the filter (according to the display of the machine) every 2 months, which is unfortunately quite expensive. With such an expensive fully automatic coffee machine, I accept this (grudgingly) to protect the machine.
Advantages: Makes descaling my automatic coffee machine unnecessary
Disadvantages: Expensive, Short life, Not sustainable, a lot of garbage

The original filter cartridges are very easy to use and save you from time-consuming descaling. Thus, you save time and can even enjoy a fresh coffee aroma longer thanks to the filter. The package contains 3 pieces and they last us easily a year.
Advantages: Easy handling, Quick exchange

I have been using the Claris 71794 filter cartridge for my "Jura" coffee machine since I bought it. I find them a little expensive, lasts approx. One month. However, it filters well the lime from the water and you have a great tasting coffee.
Advantages: Does what it should
Disadvantages: A bit expensive

The filter cartridges are very easy to insert and save the manual and always remain descaling my coffee machine. The result is super.

The coffee machine filter filters away lime very well. The filter can be changed quickly and easily. The manual exchange of these filter cartridges saves the manual descaling.

Disadvantages: Gives no weakness
