Product Description
This futuristic dinosaur is a more advanced version of the popular Tamagotchi. He needs to be played with and fed to keep him happy and is designed to respond to your voice and hand signals and carry out an impressive number of commands. The display panel on his face lets you know how he's feeling through a series of expressive eye movements as well as roaring and crying just like a real dinosaur! The panel also allows him to work out how much light is in the room and adjust accordingly so as best to see your hand commands.
This, somewhat loveable, T-Rex will walk, stop and move his tail on command and can even master tricks such as eating his bone then spitting it out and releasing a gigantic burp. If more impressive tricks is what you're after, then it's possible to programme him through a free downloadable app on an iPad or Android device. This T-Rex offers two different modes: conversation mode (where he stays put and you can converse with him and get your answers in roar-form) and singing and dancing mode (lets you select a tune to watch him boogie to).
This emotionally intelligent carnivore is a great option for children over the age of five and will provide hours of fun. Though suitable for children over five, it's bound to keep those who are young at heart happy too though. It uses four AA batteries, weighs just over 1 kg, and has dimensions of 28.2 x 17.1 x 25.5 cm, so is easily transportable.
Teksta have many other robots in their range including a robotic puppy in blue or pink, a Dalmatian and a kitty. The dogs come with a bone and ball and the cat comes with a mouse accessory, of course!
