Fans of Despicable Me, the Minion movie and famous Minion characters will relish playing with this set from Mega Bloks that lets them build their very own, jumbo-sized Kevin. The Build-A-Minion set includes 776 pieces for constructing a figure that stands at 15 inches tall. Well-designed and true to life, this detailed Kevin replica is impressively realistic, from his brightly coloured overalls and recognisable Minion goggles, right down to the pokey strands of hair for the top of his head. It can be combined with other Mega Bloks Minion sets for re-enacting that Minion mischief and expanding on play possibilities.

The character itself is customisable, for instance, you can change his smile into a frown, create a variety of poses, make him shorter or leave him with just one eye instead of two. His hands, fingers and arms are built on ball joints and are posable so he can be set in different stances depending on the action that is taking place. A mini, build-able Bob character also comes with this giant Kevin model, so he can accompany his buddy on missions. The pocket on Kevin's overalls can open and close, providing the perfect place for Bob to hide if needs be!

Construction toys such as this make for very engaging and entertaining play time. The blocks found in this particular set are large and varied. They come in a number of bags, though they are not divided according to a particular Minion body part, for example. Rather, they are randomly mixed together and so, building begins with all 776 pieces, as opposed to groups of blocks. Younger users may need some help with the building of Kevin as it is a little tricky and can take a few hours, though it is a task that will be much enjoyed by adults as well as by children.

The set is designed for kids aged 5 and above, and is not suitable for children under 3 years due the risk of choking on small parts. Batteries are not required.
