Product Description
Creative promised big things with the Inspire T3300 speakers, their budget level speaker system. In relation to their price, the speakers perform well and will comfortably meet the needs of the average computer user. Containing all the things you’d expect to find on a sound system - chiefly, two speakers and a subwoofer - and not much more, the Inspire T3300 speakers don’t quite live up to the hype created by the Singapore company (they warn buyers to "get ready to be blown away"), but don't cheat customers either. A decent sound and ease of use are the two things buyers should expect here.
As there are only speakers, a subwoofer, mains cable, and control pod, set up of the system is straightforward. The wires are a decent length, which brings good mobility and flexibility when it comes to placing the speakers, though some customers did note that they tend to get jumbled up with one another rather regularly. The jack cable is of standard size and can be used with many devices, including computers, laptops, and audio devices. This cable is attached to the control pod, with which you can turn the speakers on and also control volume.
On the performance front, these speakers offer decent levels of bass and will deliver good, but not spectacular, results when used for watching movies and listening to music. The Creative Image Focusing Plate developed by Creative means there acoustics perform well, as does the tonal balance.
However, as mentioned above, audiophiles will find that these speakers do not deliver the level of sound they would require. As such these are best suited for casual listeners of music and watchers of films. They’ll perform well enough at a small gathering where music isn’t a priority. For the price, they’re good, and it’s no wonder that they’ve proven a popular option; anything with a subwoofer delivers a sound better than regular speakers, and these don’t cost much more than regular speakers.
Still, they’re not perfect, and in fact are quite far from it. Even casual music listeners might find fault with the sound produced by these speakers, and everyone will take exception with Creative’s claim that the sound will blow listeners away. In all, buyers should be aware of exactly what they’ll be getting with the T3300 speakers, and that is: a slightly above average sound at a cost that won’t break the bank.
