Product Description

Lego City Switching Tracks (7895) is a Lego set within the Lego City building set range. It was first released in 2006 and is still available to purchase. The set includes switch tracks that have been designed to be compatible with corresponding Lego trains and track sets, allowing children to build a train track that is longer and can be used to change the direction of the train. This Lego set is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old and includes 8 pieces. It is not suitable for children 3 years and under due to its small parts.

This Lego City building set comprises 8 pieces in total: 4 curved track pieces, 1 right switch track, 1 left switch track and 2 switches. A leaflet is included to help children build their track collection with a variety of vehicles and track sets. Before use, the yellow switches must be attached to the appropriate pieces. The switches are then simply flicked between two positions to align the track to the straight or curved position. The curved tracks can easily be attached to the switch tracks by clicking them together and are taken apart simply by snapping the two pieces apart.

Lego City Switching Tracks is compatible with track systems 7897 and 7898. The set is also compatible with other track sets, specifically set numbers 4515, 4519 and 4520. The track does not feature electricity in the rails like other model train sets, as it has been designed to be safer and easier to use by young children. Instead, compatible trains are powered by a motor using a remote control.

This is a very useful Lego City track set for any child who wants to expand their collection and change the direction of compatible trains. The set is easily constructed and clicked together or taken apart, making it fun and safe to use. The switches are also simple to use, so children can enjoy changing the direction of trains without the need for a parent’s help. Lego City Switching Tracks can be used with a variety of compatible Lego vehicles and trains, making it ideal for avid Lego City train collectors.

This review is for: LEGO City Switching Tracks (7895)
An absolute train accessory set for Lego trains. The design is realistic and with quality, despite the fact that they are only two switching points.
