LEGO Jurassic World - Indominus Rex Breakout (75919)

With Jurassic Park making a comeback in the form of the Jurassic World film there's a resurgence of memorabilia on the shelves. Fans of Lego will no doubt love the Jurassic World-themed Indominus Rex Breakout (75919) set. Imagine all the fun to be had with the impound, lab, gyrosphere, helicopter, feeding crane, four figures and last but not least the ferocious dinosaur. To get a feel of the size of the set, the impound stands at 21 cm high and the Rex is 16 cm tall.

Activate the dinosaur pen breakout function and either recreate scenes from the film or make up your own! Use the helicopter (with turning rotor blades) to help Zach escape from the Indominus Rex, or throw the included chicken legs as a distraction while Zach finds a hiding place in the lab. There's even a lift to release the gyrosphere so he can roll around in safety and away from the dino's chomping jaws.

There is exceptional attention to detail with some examples being in the lab, which contains a piece of amber with a mosquito inside and lots of warning signs. This set is suitable for children over seven years and contains 1,156 pieces so it will keep you busy for a while.

If you would prefer to start off with a smaller (and cheaper) Jurassic World set, the T. Rex Tracker (75018) proves a good alternative, made up of 520 pieces and including a T-Rex, the tracker, three figures, and lots of weapons and accessories to help you catch the escaped beast.
