Product Description
The Lego Bucket Wheel Extractor is the largest set in the Lego Technic series. Lego technic sets are among the most popular from the brand's vast range. They generally have between 150 – 1,500 pieces and are the most advanced, complex Lego products with movable arms and rods, remote controls and wheels. The Bucket Wheel Extractor listed above represents a 'digger' of sorts and has over 3,900 pieces. It is recommended for ages 11-16 and, as it is such an extensive build, should keep them occupied for quite some time.
Lego Bucket Wheel Extractor
The Bucket Wheel is a detailed model that resembles a giant digger that wouldn't be out of place on a huge building site. It has numerous motorized functions, for instance, it can drive forwards and backwards via moving conveyor belts, the main body can rotate 360 degrees in both directions and the bucket wheel can turn. A separate, mini truck type vehicle comes with the set and this can be used for transporting material around the 'site'. There is a driver's cabin that opens up and a lego figure can sit inside.
Bucket Wheel Price
Searching for a cheap Lego Bucket Wheel Extractor won't yield too many results. It is a huge and therefore costly set with a price tag of between £130 and £200. However, there are some bargains to be had and you can get lucky with the price if you shop around a bit and compare prices. Other sets in LEGO's Technic series include the LEGO Porsche 911, the Technic Volvo Wheel Loader and the RC Tracked Racer.

3/53/5Review summary: This set is best for Technic collectors and those who are already fans of the series. This reviewer finds the Bucket Wheel Extractor set to be quite pricey for a set that does not offer a huge amount of playability and notes that it is an awkward model to put on show due to its size and design. Good option for Technic collectors, not recommended for anyone else.
