The brand's palette extends from baby carriers and bassinets to mattresses and portable high chairs, but they are best known for their prams & pushchairs. The Mamas & Papas Armadillo XT is a folding buggy suitable for use from birth.
Top Features
Labelled XT this version of the Armadillo pushchair is more robust than the original, with chunkier wheels making it suitable for use in what the company terms "rural adventures". However, it still provides a much smoother ride for your child on city sidewalks. It is highly manoeuvrable and comfortable to push with its adjustable handlebar.
It is not a travel system, so you will not be able to connect a carry cot or switch direction from front to back; however, it is compatible with a few select Maxi-Cosi and Cybex car seats. This makes it most suitable for use as a secondary pushchair for travel -- the chair can be folded easily and quickly with a single hand. It weighs a relatively hefty 10 kg but includes a convenient handle for carrying.
The pushchair is well padded providing plenty of comfort for your little one, as well as a generously large hood for sun and rain protection complete with viewing window. The buckle is similar to that of most Mamas & Papas pushchairs, slightly difficult to get the hang of, particularly when your child is not sitting still. The back reclines to several positions.
