The Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon is one of the most iconic sets of Lego's Star Wars editions available. The set contains characters from the newest film in the franchise, Star Wars The Force Awakens, and is a high-end set aimed at older children.

The 75105 Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon set is aimed at Lego builders aged from 9- 14 and comes with an impressive 1,330 pieces. Once fully built, it measures 58.2 x 37.8 x 8.7 cm and features key characters from the newest film including Rey, Hans Solo, Finn, Chewbacca, Tasu Leech, a Kanjiklub gang member and the droid BB8. When constructed, this set has interactive elements including the dual spring-loaded shooters and it also provides an internal space to store weapons, cargo and accessories.

The set comes with all usual detailed instructions that Lego fans have come to expect and is aimed at children with experience of building large Lego sets. The lower recommended age of nine years old could be pushed down to slightly younger children provided they do it over a few sessions and with adult supervision.

One of the main advantages to this set is that it appeals to both fans of the original trilogy and young fans alike. The Millennium Falcon returns in The Force Awakens along with Chewwie and Hans Solo, but is also operated by new characters Finn and Rey, making this an ideal crossover set for parents and children to enjoy together. The only disadvantage to the 75105 set is its fairly high price, which may put some buyers off. There are more Millennium Falcon choices in the Lego Star Wars range, although apart from the small Microfighter option, they are priced even higher than this one.

Overall this is a great set for a true Star Wars fan that has a good experience of building Lego. As the most iconic of all Star Wars starships and featuring characters from the original trilogy AND the newest film, it’s bound to be a hit across the generations. For the true fan, the high price is arguably justified by the immense detail of the set once it’s built.
