30/03/2013Chris HeapThis review is for: Intex Swim Centre Family Lounge Pool (7.5' x 7.5' x 26")I just received this pool by courier today, and I decided to test it by inflating it in the back garden with the seats.
I didn't fill it with water, as it was too cold to do so; but once the seats were inflated my parents and I decided to test the seats to see how firm and comfortable they were.
The seats were really good quality, and so was the material.
I left the pool inflated for an hour to see if it would stay firm; and it did.
But the air valve for the outer wall was a little flimsier than I imagined; although it holds, there are cases where it can come out, especially when trying to open just the topmost valve to add more air to the wall and make it firmer. When I properly put it up for the first time in the summer, i'm going to have to be very careful that the cap doesn't pop out unintentionally, and make sure that there's enough firmness in the wall before i'm ready to fill it up.
Ultimately, I bought the pool because I wanted to do something very special for my nieces and nephews this summer, rather then let them splash in cheap £3.99 paddling pool. My hope is that when the pool goes up the next time, everyone will love it for years to come.via idealo
