My wife was standing on it and it giveway very luck she not hurt her self,

I echo other people’s comments, the item broke the very first time my wife stepped up on it. We have another one in the house we’ve had for years and it’s still fine, whereas this one is not fit hor purpose. Looking at the age of some reviews, its an issue that’s ongoing with this product and subsequently should be removed from sale immediately. DO NOT BUY!

Will be returning this as it broke the first time I stood on it. Surely it should be able to withstand eight & a half stone!

This product is not fit for purpose. I stepped on it carefully and it broke into pieces. Not the quality I expect from Go Outdoors.

First time I step on it it brook, unsafe and and not fit for purpose. I will be returning it. Waste of money. Didn't want to give it any star rating, reluckingly had to give it one too submit review, should be minus 10.

The first time I stepped on this it broke. It is extremely dangerous and should be withdrawn from sale. The hard plastic could cause. Very serious injury.

Cracked the step on OPENING it. Flimsy and a total waste of money; why are they still selling this??????????

Looked flimsy and proved to be so - I put my foot through it on the 2nd day of using it and was lucky to escape with only scratches and a bruise. Could easily have sliced my leg open

I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought this. I think an egg box would be stronger. Stood on it and the top split then my foot went through just missing slicing my leg open on the sharp edges. Absolute rubbish. Why can't we give negative stars?

Unlike other reviews we didn't even get to stand on it - the top split while unfolding straight out of the wrapping !
This should be minus 5 stars as a total waste of space.

As per the other 3 reviews my step was bought for my 3 yo son to stand on when he stands at the basin to clean hid teeth and less than a week after purchasing it the top is all cracked. I'm just glad he didn't hurt himself on it.
Very poor quality and shouldn't be allowed to be sold. Absolute death trap

I, too, bought a Freedom Trail Folding Step,which broke into many pieces the first time it was stepped on.
Fortunately the person concerned was not injured.

What very much concerns me is that Go Outdoors have already had two complaints about this item breaking, but still offer it for sale.

Are they waiting until someone is seriously injured before they remove it from sale?

Thought this step would be handy as it folds up.
I am not light but by no way massive, however after a few times of use, I had the unfortunate luck to step out of the caravan and my foot went straight through the step resulting in the sharp plastic cutting my foot and me landing awkward on the floor with a smack. Shaking for ages as I couldn't believe what happened. It's a shame that I can't upload photo's as I've kept images of the step as I was shocked. Luckily the camping owners provided us with an extra step that we could borrower whilst there. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Bought on Thursday used a few times Friday broke on Saturday.
