Lightweight, easily packable, and very warm and comfortable - a perfect sleeping bag for expeditions, or just a weekend of fun.
Recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Association, and useful for anyone from youth groups on expeditions to weekend campers or festival-goers, Vango Latitude Sleeping Bags are warm and light, with construction designed to perform and keep you comfortable.
They're made using a diamond-ripstop outer shell, covering two layers of offset insulation with a silky polyester lining that's very soft next to your skin.
The breathable lining has an aluminised reflective face that reflects your body heat back into the bag, and coupled with the offset insulation (two layers separated by a liner to avoid lumping, with stitching that doesn't allow for 'cold spots' to form) and Thermal Embrace System (elasticated thread that keeps the lining close but allows you to move freely) you're kept snug, comfortable and warmer for longer.

Really warm and comfortable. Used it at -2 with no tent on Exmoor and was completely fine. It's a bit bulky and heavy but for the price who can complain.
If you want warm this is a great bag but think about how you sleep before you buy. If you are a bit of a riggler the proportions and body hugging design could be quite frustrating. I was super warm on a recent camping trip but found the style of bag too restricting even though I am quite a small person and so slept badly. If you don`t move around much it should be fine. The zip did stick a lot too.
Great product - camped on Dartmoor last weekend in winter after a wet days hike. The tent was wet and the bottom of the bag was wet on the outside buy i was cosy and warm.
The only issue is the bag is bulky but suitable for cold weather conditions.
Being ex mountain rescue I appreciate good equipment, I bought this bag for my grandson for D of E it hasn't been tried yet but looks good. Vango seem to excel at designing their gear for scouts and D of E. There are better bags but probably not at this price.
Bought two of these sleeping bags for camping in October in Inverness on a beach site. So comfy and warm. Even my daughter stopped moaning about the cold and wanted to go to bed as it was comfy and cosy.
used this bag at the lake district in wasdale in December was -1 bag kept me very warm zips can be a bit tedious but overall good performing bag
first time I've used a sleeping bag in years and it was superbly warm, overnight temperaure a dizzy 4 degrees in the welsh countryside (Dolgellau). slept like a log as a result and didn't want to move in the morning. Only complaint is the zips a bit hard to get all the way to the top, keeps sticking, but does get there in the end...just plan for this if you need to make a quick toilet run!
I got the sleeping bag for a gift and I recently used it while sleeping on a hammock. The bag seems warm even below 0. Anyway it warms up in about 40-60 seconds so perfect for cold evening. Overall I would recommend this sleeping bag.
Quite happy with it, comfortable and warm.
Fits really well around feet and legs, but for my build I have found it a bit tight at the top, but in contrast that preserves heat inside the sleeping bag better. I would recomend to try it in the shop and feel how you fit inside.
Overall. Good product that I would reccomend it.
Really warm, roomy and soft. However, the zip gets stuck on excess fabric every time I either get in or out of the bag.
Would put me off buying another I'm afraid :(
So far only used indoors over winter (guests staying), but have been warm in it. Used with Vango 5 comfort mat.
Zip is tricky, but that is part of the design to stop zips slipping during the night. Zip can catch the fabric but no different to previous bags. I think this is an excellent sleeping bag for its price.
The zip catches on the sleeping bag fabric, I slept in it during winter at -4 and I couldn't sleep properly because I was cold. Fine down to 0 degrees nothing more.
I have had this sleeping bag for some time now & it's great once your in it. It's comfortable & I've never been cold & it's seems very durable. The reason for only 3 stars is the zip! I have found it impossible to use the zip in either direction without trapping the material in it as there is too much spare fabric around the zip. I've spoken to 2 other people who have Lattitude bags & both have the same problem. When it comes to replacing it I would buy another but ONLY if the zip has been modified.
I was actually expecting something that packs down a little smaller also. A bit more space in the rucksack never goes a miss. The fact that it packed to a similar size to the U/L Pro 300 was a bonus and at half the price I thought it would be perfect for my expeditions.
I however wasnt overly impressed with it. It's very, very tight. I'm 5'10 and I fit inside it with the hood over my head and my feet at the bottom, not really much more room to move within it. The hood doesn't feel deep enough to be useful. The zip gets stuck for fun, all the time! Yes it is warm, sometimes too warm and this was January in the beacons. I' wasnt impressed by this at all and on the second night said I would be much better with my old Go outdoors own brand 3 season sleeping bag, which probably means that's what I'm going to do. This for me wasnt really fit for purpose, let alone the fact that the top cover was ripped when I first opened it.
