An excellent shrub for beginners or for planting into small gardens. Deutzia is an elegant, summer-flowering shrub, which will grow in sun or shade and is fast-growing.
Deutzia flowers start to appear during early summer, Deutzia × hybrida 'Mont Rose' has pale pink, blushed flowers, produced in tight clusters, and emitting a soft fragrance. Height and Spread: 1.2m (3.9').
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow Deutzia in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info Feed and water Deutzia plants regularly until fully established. Once established, Deutzia shrubs will require little attention. After flowering, cut back the flowered shoots to a pair of healthy buds. On mature plants, remove a fifth of the oldest shoots from the base of the plant. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning.
