The Dino-Lite Edge series are an enhancement of the universal range of microscopes, providing a superior quality image and greater flexibility. All the microscopes feature high-quality optics that provide a very sharp, bright and natural colour image with very low aberration and vignetting.
This microscope from the Edge series has 20 to 220x magnification and features a polariser that provides anti-reflective performance. The microscope is supplied with a number of exchangeable caps, including a diffuser cap, that give even more flexibility and ease of use in a wide variety of applications.
Output from the microscope can be single image, video at up to 30fps, or time-lapsed video. It is possible to carry out object measurements, ascertaining line length, radii, circle and 3-point circle, etc. The functionality and feature set of the microscope makes it suitable for many applications in education, teledermatology, gemstones, watchmaking/repairing, industrial quality control, cultural heritage, graphical industry, etc.
