Great For Bouldering
I've been climbing for a few years, and one too many smelly pairs of rental shoes pushed me into investing in my own pair.
Having already climbed in the Red Chili session entry level shoes, I knew that they are durable and solid shoes. I'm now using these weekly at my local bouldering centre.
I find that the lacing system allows you to bring up the sole to meet the arch of your foot for an overall secure fit. The heel is nicely coated for heel gripping, better than similarly prices Scarpa shoes. I have quite wide spread toes after getting into barefoot style running, and I find that these shoes allow me to use my toes effectively whilst climbing, without squeezing them so much I have to keep removing the shoes. The flat fit and wider toe box isn't as aggressive as some models, but I prefer the comfort.

Good Shoes
Did everything I wanted of them comfortable and incredibly versatile suitable for beginners yet still perform well at the end stuff too.
Got these shoes around 8 months ago and was initially very happy with them. Great grip and comfortable. However after only 3 months climbing (roughly twice a week) the toe started to wear. Now only 8 months on, I am climbing with a large hole in my toe and they now need replacing. 3 people in my climbing group have had the same issue so I wouldn't be surprised if this is an issue with the shoe. Would advise getting another pair unless you get these very cheaply!
