Part of Black Diamond's most powerful range of head torches, the Icon Headlamp has a huge maximum output of 200 lumens. It has an IPX7 waterproof construction, making it suitable for professional level use in any weather conditions.The Icon has five LEDs. One QuadPower spotlight and 4 SinglePower lights; two white and two red, for improved night vision. The multiple lighting modes allow you to adjust the beam to match the environment, while all of the LEDs offer an impressive burn time.
- Modes include: full strength in distance and proximity mode, dimming, strobe and red night vision.
- Lock mode to protect the battery when the torch is in storage.

I bought this head torch for fishing even though it wasn't my first choice.One thing I noticed when buying it was the massive amount of lumins it had compared to others in the shop-a whopping 320! I have used it and it's incredibly bright on full setting.I liked the touch setting mode to reduce the light or increase it.It also has an infa red setting for night time.It is a little bulky with the separate battery pack but it hasn't been too much of a problem.
fantastic headlamp
I had an older Black Diamond light, which had stopped being waterproof. I had used it for running on a daily basis pre-dawn. I opted for to replace it with the latest Black Diamond version and am very happy with it. The light is better than ever, and the battery now not being a USB but batteries is really not an issue as it doesn't weigh much different. This is an excellent product at a very good price. If you want a headlamp for winter running in the rain then look no further

first off let me start by saying this is a superb head torch i used it on a 4 hour walk in really dirty conditions felt comfortable to wear and the controls are easy to use even with gloves on the light lets you see for about 20-30 paces ahead and didn't dim at all . the good news is i got this for much less with my discount card off go outdoors after finding it on amazon for £60 and go outdoors price matched it and then 10%
Used for climbing and fishing for 3 years in all weathers. No doubt that it is a good bright light. BUT try finding a replacement strap in the uk. No chance, likely you will have 2 bin a working lamp.
