A 3A 1.23 to 37V adjustable step-down (Buck) switching regulator designed for use as a DC to DC converter. The device has excellent line and load regulation and operates at a switching frequency of 150kHz which means that smaller size filter components are used, giving benefits in thermal management and reducing board footprint requirements. Suitable applications for this buck regulator include on-card switching regulator, positive to negative converter and simple high-efficiency step down regulator.
