This warm white 3mm LED has a 12V voltage input and an integral current limiting resistor ensuring that the LED is TTL compatible. Having an integral resistor means that component count is reduced giving space saving and reduced cost benefits making this LED ideal for use in a wide range of lighting and indicative applications.
OK, I know I'm a pessimist. Everyone tells me so. But I figure, if you assume things will go wrong and they do go wrong you won't get a nasty surprise, and if they happen to go well you'll get a nice surprise. Optimists are idiots; their lives are so full of disappointment. I bought one hundred of these little white LEDs (item 55-0898) because I needed 64. Normally I'd buy 200 if I needed 64 to work, but I was feeling a bit weirdly optimistic that day. This was my first order from Rapid; maybe I had the crazy idea that things would be different from now on. When the little package arrived though I was back on my normal mental axis, and I assumed 63 would work at best. Imagine my surprise when the first 64 were all A-OK! It didn't seem right somehow. It seriously challenged my view of the universe, so after a restless night I tested the remaining 36. To my horror they were all A-OK. Thank you Rapid for seriously destabilising me. I'll be sending you my psychotherapy bills.
