Transmission dipsticks for checking the fluid level on Mercedes 722.6, 722.7, 722.8 and 716.5 automatic transmissions, fitted to most Mercedes vehicles from 1996 to 2006. The dipstick is a service tool, therefore must be removed after the fluid has been checked. Made from spring steel with plastic measuring tip for accurately checking the fluid level.

Q. You also sell 89-6749, of a different length, but apparenly for the same gearboxes. How come? Which should I buy for a Mercedes Benz SLK230 Kompressor, series 170, automatic gearbox 722.6, chassis number WDB1704471F040015?

A. Thanks for your enquiry Gordon. This is not a replacement dip stick it's only a service tool for checking the level.
