This inductive sensor comes in a long cylindrical M8 housing and has a mounting distance of 1mm. The body is chrome-plated brass that is proof against water, oil, acid and alkaline. An LED indicator lamp is provided for status indication. Widely used in counting, measuring, RPM measuring applications in chemical, paper manufacturing, and other industries.

I have run the switch at room temperature only and only a smooth supply, well within tolerance. As expected the switch works within specification. There are 4 places around the periphery where the status LED shows. A nice touch so you can see the status from any direction. However, a note of caution. The LED intensity is different on each viewpoint. so you can end up thinking it is dim and go hunting for non existent problems!
