The Adafruit Pi Plate helps you make the difficult transition from a breadboard project to a PCB and solder gadget. They are laid out with a breadboard style area, an area of individual solder pads, and a set of pads to take a surface mount IC with up to 16-pins. All the Pi signals are brought out to sets of pads grouped by function, for example power, SPI, I2C, etc. The traces between pads can be cut if you need to isolate parts of the board. All the holes are plated through for strength so they won't peel off with rework and the pads are gold plated so there's none of the oxidation you normally get with stripboard. The board is the same size as the Raspberry Pi.

Adafruit supply a free tutorial to get your started prototyping with the Raspberry Pi and the Pi Plate. Supplied as a silk-screened bare board plus strips of 0.1in. pitch female headers and screw terminal blocks for you to solder on as required. Please note that this board uses the 26-pin header from the original Pi A and Pi B, not the extended header on the Pi A+, B+, 2 and 3. It's fine to use it with the newer boards, just be aware that it uses the 26-pin header.
