Only lasted just over a year until sole started to come away from shoe. Expensive shoe and expected they would last longer:(

I normally find it difficult to find walking shoes and boots due to having quite narrow and shallow feet but these fit beautifully. The leather is thinner and softer than on a lot of alternatives and is therefore more forgiving and didn't take any time to break in. I have had no blisters or sore spots and have worn the just about every day since buying 2 weeks ago. They have provided good grip on mud and wet grass and water came over the toe on a few occasions without ingress or that cold feeling you get with canvas. I'm very happy with my purchase, especially considering the price compared to some of the other big European brands. Highly recommended.

Supple and supportive as soon as I put them on. Sole wasn't stiff and they look great with jeans if worn casualy. Really like the leather upper as previous mesh gortex shoes have leaked when walking through wet grass.

I took so long to choose these that the incredibly knowledgeable and helpful member of staff told me my waiting wife had given up the will to live!
But it was time well spent because these shoes are perfect for me. The stiff sole won't suit everyone, but I really like and need the arch support they provide.
I am rehabbing after serious injuries and surgery and so walk twice a day through open countryside and woodland, on grass, tracks and trails. So far these shoes (not the best looking I ever bought!) have served me very well - so much so I bought a second pair.

Really pleased with the shoes very comfy I bought a inner sole which has really helped I had tried 6pairs before buying these the staff really helpful at the Hull store.

Had these for 6 months. So far so good, they fit as described and are comfortable. They soles are good and grippy and they are both waterproof but breathable. Done some longer walks in them 20+ miles, they are quite stiff but the benefits of this are noticeable if going over rougher terrain. Very impressed so far.

I was looking for a good pair of water proof shoes and visited the Go outdoor store in Granton. They had several deals on an number of shoes, but like Cinderella I could not find a shoe that was comfortable. Initially I was put of by the color of these shoes, but eventually decided to try them on.
The first thing I noticed was how thick the tongue was at the top of the laces, which meant I cold tie these very tightly and not feel any pressure from the laces on my feet. I decided to buy them and have done about 12 miles thus far, and for me, I can't feel the shoes when I am walking as they are that comfortable. The color no longer bothers me and to be honest it feels like wearing a pair of slippers. I really like them!.

These shoes appear to be well made. However, they are virtually unwearable. I first went out in them with the intention of wearing them for no more than an hour after reading the only customer review. Within 25 mins I had to call my wife to collect me as the rh shoe had blistered the skin on the heel. The lh shoe was going the same way. The leather that the shoes are made from and the shoe design makes the whole shoe very, very stiff and unforgiving. This is particularly so where the big toe touches the shoe. I nearly took them back to the shop but have decided to crack=on and try and break them in...although this could be a lengthy process. My old Hi-Tec shoes never, ever gave these problems. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GOING ON A LONG WALK STRAIGHT AWAY OR ANY TIME SOON AFTER BUYING. One could be very, very disappointed! To add insult to injury, after asking me to comment on the product GO-OUTDOORS have reduced the price. What an insult. Very disappointed in everything GO-OUTDOORS.

I've only had these a few weeks and walked about 25 miles in them but they seem good so far. They don't come up too big or small (bought my usual size) and they're comfortable and easy to clean, still wearing in the grip around my heel but that's to be expected. Also, they look a bit shiny in the photos on here but they're actually a matte grey/green colour, they have the kind of look to them which means I'd be happy just wearing them out around town etc as well as for hiking
