Created for the world of skyrunning competitions, a super lightweight, sticky and aggressive running shoe for all off-road terrain.
The La Sportiva Bushido gives you the performance, cushioning and stability you need when you're running over technical terrain.Neutral and lightweight, it provides added stability over stones, roots and branches on the trail - its "STB Control" construction utilises a TPU frame that wraps under foot to give you the maximum stability and responsiveness, and reduce overall weight.
The shoe provides maximum support, containment of the middle of the foot and freedom of movement at the toe - internal slip-on construction fits like a sock without causing excessive pressure - it gives a snug fit, but won't constrict your foot. The outsole lugs have rounded edges and wrap over the midsole for added traction and enhanced stability on off-camber terrain.
Thermo-adhesive microfibre reinforcements protect against rubbing and abrasion, while reinforced lacing creates an equal partition of tension during training runs.
Uppers: Breathable Air Mesh + thermal adhesive micro fibre; High Frequency Welded Ripstop
Lining: Mesh + no sweat lateral mesh inserts + stretch Air Mesh tongue
Midsole: Compressed EVA + Rock-Guard insert in dual density EVA on the forefoot

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.
Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Quality
Only trainers I have owned in last 10 years that have not fallen to bits.
Really good quality hard wearing and comfortable trainers. Had mine 3 years now and the sole and toes in particular are still even and in tact respectively.
Not robust
These are light comfy shoes allegedly for mountain running. Given the sole came off at the heel which isn't covered by warranty after 5 days walking in the Tramuntana of Mallorca I would look elsewhere.
Really Pleased
Bought these for trail running with the dog ! Excellent grip and lightweight. They leak like a sieve but I didn't want a waterproof shoe. I was going to buy Salomon but I need a wider fitting and these tick that box. Would definitely recommend.
These are excellent. I usually wear Asics ~ very comfy, but the sole wears out in 6 months, not good for £140.
Salomans are good, but too narrow.
These Bushidos are VERY durable, amazing. They do take sometime to wear in, probably due to their robust construction. You will also find that you have to tie the laces looser than on other makes, to prevent constriction, but again, that is due to the robust construction - they are almost over-engineered!
