Optional extra protection (and thermal management) for your Outwell Montana 600P tent.
Over time, your tent is prone to damage and wear from natural elements such as UV-radiation, bird lime, trees and exposure to changing temperatures.
This optional Roof Protector is a tough, lightweight panel that attaches across the pole sleeves, leaving a gap between itself and the roof allowing air to flow.
One side of the Protector is silver coated, the other is black - on cooler days, having the black side facing out can warm up the tent (and keep the interior dark for a better night's sleep). On warmer days, putting the silver side out will reflect the sun's rays, shading the roof, while the airflow underneath will help to keep the tent cool.
- Protects the roof from bird droppings, liquids dropping from trees, UV rays, rain etc.
- Protects the tent from heat by shading the roof and allowing air to flow below
