This contrast scanner uses the white light emitted from an LED to very precisely detect and compare contrasts from the target and report the results to the process with minimal signal jitter. The switching-threshold can be adjusted using EasyTune via the Teach button. The sensor uses the static 2-point teach-in method and there is remote teach, keyboard lockout and pulse stretching via pin 2.
