Like others I thought this product was rubbish until I properly read the instructions.
Press and hold on off button once on until display zeros.
This is important to restart first phase this pumps air much faster before second stage where you hear a change in pump noise and although slower brings it up to required pressure.
Had this three years now never an issue great pump.

Had it as new one with tent as most customers in here. 3 times used only and its not working. Display works so power is ok, then noise of small screw iside flying all over.

NOT GOOD ITEM FOR USE

This is possibly the worst thing you could buy for a air tent it’s so bad even gooutdoors sales assistants told me not to buy it

I am using the pump inflatable high pressure air deck floors, also tubes on motor boats. The specs say it pumps fast until 0.9 psi, this is incorrect, it pumps fast stage for 2 Minutes, and then it switches over to high pressure stage 2. This is not a design fault its the way its made to work. The price is half of a bravo pump and its slower but it gets the job done. Please read this review and wait for the second stage pump to kick in. it wont start at 0.9 like the specs state it will kick in after 2 Minutes!!!!!

If you know how the pump works then its spot on for its price.

Also in regard to the pump stop working there is a inline fuse in the connector, i don't know of its quality so if your pump stops working please check first the fuse in the screw connector, and replace with a branded fuse.

Bought a few weeks ago to ease the strain of using the hand pump. In a nutshell, we plugged it in, set the pressure and pressed ‘on’. Nothing happened. Tried many times. Nada. Returned today for full refund

This item was brought when we purchased the horizon airgo 6 tent from go outdoors around 2 years ago when it first came out. We brought the Airgo Electric Air Pump at a price of £50.
This has to be the worse item we have ever brought from go outdoors. Only used twice, and today while putting the tent up it stops working.
Stay with the manual pump. You will save money and also get a workout. Happy Camping !!!

It's half the price of a bravo btp12 so I expect quality differences, yeah the gauge is a bit of but I use a manometer and reconnect pump to inflate it to correct pressure.

Fan operates for the first 2 minutes then switches to compressor mode. I use it on a 3.8m boat so it hasn't got the easiest life but it manages fine. And makes my life easier.

I did read these reviews first but it's got a warranty so if it fails it will go back. But so far so good and is pretty quiet as compressors go!

Should of read these reviews before buying this pump too... it will have to be returned for a refund I'm afraid.
It plugs into the 12v in the car and turns on, and makes an "electric pump" noise while using it, but it simply doesn't have enough power in it, to pump the air beam up to 7psi.
It managed to put a little air into the air beam, but it was floppy and nowhere near the amount needed to inflate it to a firm state where it could support the tent, so I had to use a hand pump instead.
Very disappointed...

I wish I had read these reviews before wasting my money. There were no instructions in the box but 1 from another box was given to me when I returned to the store. The digital guage is no use and not accurate. Whilst away we had to use the hand pump of another camper

Have to agree with other negative reviews - kept cutting out before pressure reached and digital gauge hard to set - seemed to have a mind of its own. Had to resort to a friend's stirrup pump. Tried to use it once then returned to store.

Firstly well done to David for being the only person in the world to get a result out of this piece of s*** pump. I agree with the other review WHY do Go Outdoors continue to sell a product that is quite clearly unfit for purpose, trading standards where are you but more to the point what sort of quality control do Go Outdoors have in place. I tried 2 of the pumps and had all the same problems as the others. Simple answer .... stick to the manual pump supplied and treat it as a little workout.

Bought to use one my inflatable tent. It only needs to pump up to 7psi. Set the machine up okay but it didn't manage to pump to that pressure, often shaking violently and switching itself off.
Returned and bought a stirrup pump.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Took the first one back, didn't work at all. Second one worked for 2 camping trips before it packed up in .its now out of warranty so won't get a refund. In total it only inflated 8 tubes.Go outdoorsmustno there's a problem if they look at the reviews. Why are they still SELLING this product?

I bought this pump 2016. The first pump did not work at all straight out of the box so I took it back for an exchange. I then trialed the next pump and it was very slow to pump up the tent. I didn't receive any instruction in the box when it was purchased so I tracked some down and it made no difference. The pump has never worked. I took the pump out for its first outing this year (2017) just incase it decided to behave! but I am sad to say it still does not work. It pumps low pressure air briefly and then switched to high pressure air after a few moments but having left it for over 45 minutes the tent was still not inflated. What a waste of money.

We bought this with an airgo tent package, it was very slow to pump tent as it trips to low volume very easily. Took it back and bought a Sevylor pump that is much better except it does not deflate which is not that big a deal.

Very pleased, a little confusing to make it work performed well, it pumped up my Airgo Cirrus 4 in about 5 minutes.

Despite purchasing around a month ago & testing briefly, I refrained from writing a review until we had used it 'in the field'.
The 1st thing I like about it is that it has a really long lead, so no need to break out the 12v extension. Secondly, it has numerous adaptors/ connectors & fitted straight on our outwell tent.
The instructions are straightforward, & our family tent was up in under 8 mins. Airbeds (although the manufacturer advises against using it for them), we're done in 2 mins.
After blowing the tent up by hand last year, I can say that this is a welcome addition to our kit.

Waste of money, does eventually work if you want to wait 20 plus minutes. Personally the hand pump is 100% better. Do not buy this if you think it is going to be quicker. Would not recommend this product

We were looking forward to avoiding 90 seconds of hand pumping our airgo tent up.
We arrived at the campsite in the rain and waited and waited and waited on the pump inflating the tent ended up sitting in the car for 40mins,Not happy.
Took it back and got a full refund! Ordered a Bravo BP12 from the Internet which workes very well.

Utter Rubbish, do not waste your time or your money! 29mins to pump up an air bed and 43mins to pump up a tent, my lungs are more effective and less expensive!!!!
Avoid this product at all costs it is utterly Rubbish!!
You have been warned!!!!
