A deciduous, low growing Spirea, perfect for companion planting with grasses. Fully hardy, bearing clusters of flattened white flowers from May to July, which are particularly attractive to pollinating insects. Stunning golden-yellow foliage in spring, turning fiery shades of red, orange and purple in autumn. Spiraea betulifolia 'Tor Gold' is a mound forming shrub, perfect for low hedging or planting at the front of borders. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
More Info For best performance, prune flowered shoots of Spiraea plants immediately after flowering. Mature specimens can be cut back by a quarter of the old shoots to the base.
