This is a nice DVD for little ones - but is not very long. I was also a bit disappointed that the only word they could find for the letter "x" was eXit! One thing in its favour though is that it is NOT Americanised - all very English accents.
I brought this DVD because of the reviews, I have two son's aged 4 years with delayed speech and a 2 year old who doesn't even say mummy yet. We have just started watching it together at bedtime and as well as it being very funny I do believe that my son's are actually getting something positive from it.My eldest likes to use his A,B,C, play alphabet toy while watching it too! Mr Greedy is yummy...
My 2 yr 4 month daughter loves this. She wants to watch it at least once a day, and can already tell me that "a is for apple" etc and recognise a couple of letters. I did not feel comfortable with phonics, and this has been a great way for her and I to get started. The graphics are form another era, and on a big TV it does look a little grainy, but who cares if the little ones like it.
fantastic as my daughter is just two and can repeat all the words and sing along to the tune.it is repettative which helps her learn and she picked it up easy after a few times watching it.would recommend as educational alphabet phonetic learning dvd.can be bought on ebay for a few ponds or asda for £4/6.
A great dvd it teaches the alphabet and my little two year old daughter loved it. My only negative is it was a little short as only half an hour. That said however she has watched it several times and learns a little more each time she watches it.
