The item is fun and educational and the green hair sprouted well on his head. However, the face much darker than the picture, so the white 'hairs' that sprouted on his face made him look quite spooky and made him look like an old man needing a shave!! I have bought many Mr Grassheads and this one is very different.

A great item that has provided hours of fun. Grass grew very well - albeit it took longer to grow than my granddaughter would have liked - and the glass holder and wick for the water kept everything neat and compact. The grass has reached a height of about 3-4 inches so far.
